Hard Drive, the leader of the Young Heroes, a new, famous, attractive, well-written, delightful, and vividly illustrated team of super-heroes set well within the brilliantly imaginative DC Universe, has been doing his damnedest to keep two of his teammates out of each other's pants. This issue we see what happens when he fails to do so. And believe you me, it's scandalous! As for the rest of the team, Off-Ramp's an enigmatic loner who was brainwashed into joining up, Monstergirl's a mysterious power-hungry slut who has more secrets than she should, Thundrehead's a sweetheart of a guy whose skull is so thick he could break rocks with it, Junior's a little shrimpy dude who fears that nobody takes him seriously because he's a little shrimpy dude (and he's exactly right), and Zip-Kid's a flying, chirping bimbette, who's mixed up in a grim relationship with a thuggish boyfriend named Lou. They all have incredibly original super-powers like super-strength, flight, shape-changing, flamethrowing, and shortness. - YHIL Lettercolumn
